A note for our international customers- We ship at the lowest possible rates, at actual cost
to us. We use the US Postal Service for international shipment. Mirrors up through 16"
and 18" (depending on destination) are shipped using Priority Mail International, which
is less than half the cost of UPS Worldship. The size limit for this service depends on destination, as width and girth limits vary by country. Larger sizes are shipped Global Express Guaranteed which is still less cost than UPS. But in every case, Zambuto Optical buys the insurance for you. There are no added insurance fees to ship internationally, only the lowest possible cost to get you your mirror.

Current lead times are ranging from 4 to 6 months, depending on diameter, glass availability, and our schedule of same-size mirrors.

Currently we are still using Corning #7740 Pyrex, but the supply is limited since Corning stopped manufacture in 2007. The industry is migrating to new glass, and we are presently in R&D to decide which direction we will go. In any case we will be using a premium COE33 borosilicate equal to or better in composition than Pyrex, with a significantly greater homogeneity than the rolled Pyrex sheet which has been the raw material for this industry for decades. More information on that subject will become available in the months ahead.
